Spelling Bee
A redesign for Spelling Bee, an app that gamifies learning how to spell.
I worked with the client to create a concept for the UI design of the app. Soon going to be available on the app store, this was an exciting opportunity to get involved with designing for education, which I am passionate about.

The client gave me the three following screens, based on which I was asked to create new designs to modernise the look and feel.

My goal for this design was to subtly highlight playfulness, to emphasise an atmosphere of learning. I did this by having a neutral white background with carefully chosen colours, suitable for children to young adults.
